YouTube creators using the Languages – Auto-Dub feature may have noticed that our auto-translate tool was temporarily unavailable.
We are pleased to announce that access has now been restored.
Please note that due to recent changes within YouTube’s Languages portal, the tool will function a bit differently than before.
To create a translation, first add the language you want to translate:
The new Languages portal will not auto-populate your existing title and description, so the boxes will be empty until you click Auto-Translate:
After clicking on our tool, your title and description will be translated. Click on the black Update button to save the translation:
If YouTube Studio reflects Subtitles instead of Languages, please follow these instructions to use the Auto-Translate tool.
